The Sony Ericsson C903 has an integrated 5.0-megapixel camera to take pictures and videos. It also features Face Detection to find up to three people in the frame. Then Smile Shutter picks out smiles and captures the photo. Consumers can also automatically snap up to nine images in a row and pick the best one. With aGPS, photos can be geotagged with location coordinates so users can remember where photos were taken. The C903 can share images on its auto-rotating 2.4-inch display or on a TV screen using the TV-out function.

The Sony Ericsson Z770i is designed to browse the Internet, receive the latest news and retrieve email. With Exchange ActiveSync, consumers get emails pushed straight to the phone. Connect the Z770i to a laptop (via USB Cable) and use it as a modem. Web browsing is easy through the Magnetic Mouse Pointer controlled by the navigation key. Pan and zoom into an area for easy reading on the 2.2-inch screen. Receive RSS feeds from news or entertainment as the action happens or click on the RSS tile for instant access to favorite web pages from the phone’s desktop. In addition, the Z770i has a built-in weather forecast application, allowing users to receive regular weather updates.

The Sony Ericsson Z555a incorporates Gesture Control, allowing users to easily mute the phone or snooze its alarm without having to interrupt what they’re doing. When a call comes in, a simple movement of the hand back and forth over the Z555a will mute the ringtone. Similarly, sweeping the hand over the phone when the alarm clock alert rings will put it into snooze mode. The external screen shows users who are calling even without opening the clamshell. When it’s in idle mode, the outside display remains discretely invisible. Changing its look to fit the suit the season, the Z555a’s menu system and home screen can update automatically as the year goes by.
