Providing a built-in FM transmitter, the W980i can send whatever’s playing from the phone to other devices with a built-in FM radio receiver, so users can tune into the phone from a car stereo. The W980i stores up to 8000 songs on its 8 GB of internal memory, ensuring they have space for PlayNow, Sony Ericsson’s over-the-air (OTA) and web download service with up to 5 million tracks. The W980i comes with eight equalizer presets, each of which contains a distinct profile that is suitable to a range of music.
